I would not be sorry to see this legislative session fail if that's the best idea they could come up with.<br><br>Here's a thought: reinstate the taxes on the wealthy that Richardson lowered AND increase them. A referendum doing this should be on the ballot in the next state-wide election. It would pass in a landslide, like in Oregon. The burden of the food tax will negatively affect the poor and middle-class in New Mexico. I would not be sorry to see this legislative session fail if that's the best idea they could come up with.

Here's a thought: reinstate the taxes on the wealthy that Richardson lowered AND increase them. A referendum doing this should be on the ballot in the next state-wide election. It would pass in a landslide, like in Oregon.
