Giving this Attorney General's office more money to do their job is just tossing it into the wind.

It has been my experience that most of the members in this AG office are more concerned about their ability to double dip, protecting their double dipping and helping their friends double dip, than they are in protecting the citizens.

I would argue that the state budget requires more muscle rather than "providing" it.

It is an unfunded mandate, just as in the State Auditors Office. Because of the amount of corruption in plain sight, three conclusions can be drawn, the Offices are corrupt, the Offices are incompetent, or the Offices are under funded, under manned, and overwhelmed.

It is my impression, I will bow to controverting fact, that for a few million dollars, we could fund the AG's Office, and the Auditor's Office, to the point where they could effectively end the opportunities to be corrupt, incompetent,or both, without consequence.

It is possible to make it impossibly difficult to steal without getting caught. Banks do it. Casinos do it better. There is no reason we can't have casino security in state government except a relatively few million dollars, and the will to do it.

It is time to stand up and pick a side;
stop the corruption or, continue to enable it.
