According to conservative columnist David Freddoso of the Washington Examiner, Congressman Harry Teague is one of the key votes on health care legislation. Freddoso, counting votes, says that Democrats only have 205 votes to pass the legislation. The bill would need 216 votes to pass the House. Teague voted against the House version of health care legislation late last year.
“Harry Teague, N.M. – This freshman already polls behind his Republican challenger, who previously represented his district. He has given no clear indication as to how he will vote, and his office has not responded to inquiries by The Examiner,” Freddoso wrote.
