Karl Rove, a former White House deputy chief of staff and senior adviser to President George W. Bush, will be in Albuquerque on May 1 for a Republican fundraiser. Attendees will receive a copy of his book, Courage and Consequence.

An event in Beverly Hills, California on Rove’s book tour did not go so well for the current Fox News contributor. Rove was heckled by protesters and left the stage because of the onslaught of yells.

Former White House chief of staff Karl Rove was heckled and branded a “war criminal’ at a book signing in Beverly Hills, California, on Monday night.

Rove, who served as senior adviser and deputy chief of staff to President Bush, was at the Saban Theater to discuss his new book, “Courage and Consequences: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,” to an audience of about 100 people who paid up to $40 to hear him.

It will be more expensive this time around for hecklers to shout down Rove; it will cost $100 to get into the reception at the Albuquerque Hilton and $250 to attend the VIP event.
