US innovation can lead clean energy transition, Heinrich says

“…Investments in clean energy create three times as many jobs as investments in fossil fuels,” Congressman Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., wrote in Roll Call yesterday.  

Heinrich also said that the money from the stimulus package will help foster that innovation and that if ACES passes, between it and the stimulus package “would increase solar energy production twentyfold.”

“Our investments in clean energy including solar, wind and nuclear energy, energy efficiency and emerging technologies are critical to creating quality American jobs,” Heinrich wrote.
