GOP gubernatorial hopeful Doug Turner revealed his third TV ad Wednesday. It was described as “not your standard political ad” by Turner’s campaign manager.
The ad features moving words in Turner’s campaign colors, green and white, on a black background. Turner isn’t shown until the end of the ad.
“Doug is a unique candidate,” Turner campaign manager, Carri Phillis said in a statement. “That’s why this spot is so different than your standard political spot. His vision is steering this ship.”
The Turner campaign told The Independent that the ad is running statewide on both network and cable TV stations.
Here is the transcript of the ad:
TURNER: “I’m Doug Turner and I’m running for governor. For almost eight years, we sat by and watched our state fall apart.
We know what the problems are but we can no longer sit around and expect more of the same from politicians.
We can balance our budget without raising taxes and put an end to corruption.
This election is about our future and our freedom. It’s about cutting waste. It’s about creating jobs. It’s about getting government out of our lives. It’s about honesty, leadership and fresh ideas.
I’m Doug Turner. Stand with me and join this fight.
Turner was the campaign manager for two successful gubernatorial elections for Gary Johnson.
