Republican congressional candidate Adam Kokesh raised a little more than $57,000 in the first three months of 2010 according to his Federal Elections Commission campaign finance report. Kokesh has $12,000 cash on hand.
His Republican primary opponent, Tom Mullins, does not yet have his campaign finance report on the FEC Web site.
However, Kokesh was outraised by Democratic incumbent Ben Ray Luján, who raised $150,000 in the first three months of 2010. Luján does not face any primary competition.
Kokesh has raised just under $200,000 in his attempt to win the 3rd Congressional District seat that has been traditionally held by Democrats.
Today is the deadline for filing campaign finance reports for federal races like the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.
