Turner airs fourth ad

By | 04.23.10 | 1:15 pm

If nothing else, Doug Turner is getting a lot of face time. Turner is on the air with his fourth TV ad.

This ad, titled “The American Dream,” can be summed up with Turner saying, “All we need is a government that will get out of our way.”

The Republican primary for governor is on June 1, and Turner will appear on the ballot along with Rep. Janice Arnold-Jones, lawyer Pete Domenici, Jr., Doña Ana County District Attorney Susana Martinez and former state Republican Party chairman Allen Weh.

Transcript:

TURNER: Our government is failing the small businesses that generate jobs and creating more government jobs is not the answer.

The American dream is about entrepreneurship. It’s about having a great idea and being able to run with it. It’s about keeping more of what you earn, reinvesting in yourself and the people around you. It’s not about government doing it for you, it’s about us. It’s about hard work.

All we need is a government that will get out of our way and let us do it.

I’m Doug Turner. As governor, I’ll make that happen.
