Please join us next Tuesday, May 11, when The New Mexico Independent, KUNM-FM and KNME-TV, team up to bring you a discussion on jobs and the economy with Richard Berry, the mayor of Albuquerque; Tom Swisstack, the mayor of Rio Rancho; David Coss, the mayor of Santa Fe; and Alice Lucero, the mayor of Española.

The forum will be held in the studio at KNME (1130 University Blvd. N.E. in Albuquerque). We’ll begin at 5:30 p.m. with snacks and mingling, then move into the panel discussion, moderated by The Independent’s Gwyneth Doland and KUNM’s Jim Williams, from 6-7 p.m.

We can handle about 50 people in the studio at KNME and the seats will be available first-come-first-served. If you can’t join us in person you can still participate online. We’ll be webcasting and live blogging the event and we’ll take questions from the studio audience as well as from participants watching online.

Got questions about jobs and the economy for the mayors? E-mail them to tips@newmexicoindependent.com.
