Roughly one quarter of University of New Mexico students are unimpressed with the state’s flagship public school, according to a survey that questioned college students about their higher education experiences.
The first ad by GOP candidate for governor Janice Arnold-Jones features testimonials by New Mexicans as well as former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman.
The ad says that Arnold-Jones is already working to “restore trust in government” and notes an award from the government transparency group the New Mexico Foundation for Open Government and one by the libertarian think tank the Rio Grande Foundation.
