It’s hard to say how this story makes anybody look good: On Friday, Bernalillo County Sheriff Manny Gonzales arrested one of his primary opponents, 24 year-old Joshua Timberman, after a bench warrant was issued for a speeding ticket in Santa Fe. Timberman had called Gonzales for help with the issue, but accounts differ as to whether Timberman asked to be arrested or not. The Journal has the story.
