Obama administration will sue over AZ immigration law

CBS News reports today that Justice Department lawyers are working on a challenge to Arizona’s controversial immigration law. A senior administration official told CBS that Justice lawyers will make a formal move when they’re finished building their case.

The administration had previously only said that it was considering such a challenge. But Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a recent interview on Ecuadorian TV that Obama had decided to move forward, scooping an official announcement.
