The state GOP’s efforts to obtain drivers license information about immigrants in order to look for possible voter fraud failed on Friday when the Court of Appeals ruled that the state can withhold personal information from driver’s license records, the AP reports.

The Farmington Community Relations Commission will meet today to discuss the wording of  a proposed agreement between the city and the Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission, reports The Farmington Daily Times. Mayor Tommy Roberts had removed two paragraphs of information about the conflict between New Mexico and the Navajo Nation from the agreement.

A dispute erupted at a Socorro Electric Cooperative meeting after residents accused the group of violating the Open Meetings Act, acccording to El Defensor Chieftain.
