Rep. Harry Teague, D-N.M., and the four companies that he owns are facing a multi-million dollar lawsuit, Politico reports.

The lawsuit, by SunTrust Equipment Finance & Leasing Corp., alleges Teague’s companies (Eunice Well Servicing, ABC Rental, Teaco Drilling and Teaco Energy Services) did not pay off loans that were issued in 2006.

When contacted by Politico, Teague said that he did not know about the lawsuit. Teague told Politico in a statement through his office, “When I was elected to Congress, I turned over all day-to-day management of the company’s operations.”
