NM is one of three states to give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants

Not too long ago 10 states issued drivers’ licenses to illegal immigrants. These days that number has dwindled to three — New Mexico, Utah and Washington state, reports Stateline.org.

The online news service tackles that issue of state’s issuing drivers licenses to non-citizens  in a story noting that both GOP gubernatorial candidate Susana Martinez and her Democratic rival, Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, have said they would stop issuing driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
