The Central Consolidated School District Board met on Wednesday in a special executive session to discuss the highly contentious closure of Shiprock County’s Naatani Nez Elementary school; the board has yet to release an announcement regarding the meeting, reports The Farmington Daily Times

The New Mexico Business Weekly has the story that Wells Fargo will shutter Wells Fargo Financial, shutting down 638 branches nationwide, including 12 in New Mexico, thereby eliminating 3,800 positions.

Santa Fe police seized over 10 boxes of documents from Advantage Asphalt and Seal Coating in order to investigate allegations of theft and fraud involving the firm’s multi-million dollar paving contract with Santa Fe County, according to The New Mexican.
