Hey, you! Get off your couch, step away from your desk, put down your smartphone and join The New Mexico Independent, KUNM and KNME  for a conversation about immigration. We’ve got a really interesting group of panelists, including Rep. Dennis Kintigh, R-Roswell, who is a former FBI special agent; Marcela Diaz, an immigrant-rights advocate with Somos Un Pueblo Unido; and Dante DiGregorio, a professor at UNM’s Anderson School of Management who specializes in business relations between the U.S. and Mexico.

The event is open to the public. It takes place from 5:30-7 p.m. at KNME studios (1130 University Blvd. NE in Albuquerque). Be there.
