Heinrich raises $375K in second quarter

Rep. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., announced that he raised more than $375,000 in the second quarter of 2010 for his first re-election bid. Heinrich finished the quarter, which ended June 30, with more than $1.3 million cash on hand.

Heinrich, who will face Republican Jon Barela in November on the ballot, raised the money between April 1 and June 30.

The deadline for reporting the fundraising numbers for federal candidates is July 15.

Heinrich has raised more than $300,000 in each of the two quarters so far this year.
