Why has the New Mexico Independent made no mention that on July 28 2010 Ben Ray Lujan voted in favor of $58.8 billion emergency funding for the president's plan to surge tens of thousands of additional troops into Afghanistan?

The public option is a sorry compromise from single payer but as everyone said, "Es mejor que nada." Pues, nada is what we have now.
As long as American citizens continue to be wealth stripped by the health care industry, while OTHER nations have solved this problem, the United States of America will continue to slide to third world status.

If it saves $68 billion, then these deficit hawks blocking Medicaid funding, SBA funding, etc., should be all for it, right? Or maybe we should call it a tax cut, and the deficit hawks will not only support it, they be offended that anyone questions it.
