Obama records robocall for Denish

President Barack Obama has recorded a telephone message that will be used to target infrequent Democratic voters and 2008 Democratic voters in New Mexico, according to a press release from the Denish campaign.

“Two years ago you stood with me to vote and move our country in a new direction. Now, I’m asking you to stand with me again and pledge your support for Diane Denish for Governor by voting early,” Obama says on the call. “I hope you’ll join me and support Diane Denish for Governor by voting early. Thank you.”

Denish had previously said that she would welcome a visit by Obama before election day but that appears unlikely with less than five days left before the election.

Tomorrow is the last day of early voting in New Mexico.

Listen to the call here.
