The Navajo Nation presidential contest between New Mexico State Sen. Lynda Lovejoy and Navajo Vice President Ben Shelly is a real horse race, with the candidates going neck and neck as the chapter results roll in. With 79 out of 110 chapters counted, Lovejoy’s initial narrow lead has flipped, now trailing Shelly 22,677 to 23,498.
