Sure if by civil you mean trampling civil rights like free speech with the “(Un)Fairness Doctrine” and why aren't Dems talking about repealing the Patriot Act?

I think New Mexicans in particular and Americans in general just got tired of the nasty politics and the tactics used by the Republicans. They used the right wing radio talk shows and other right wing media to trash anyone who was not like them. They have been doing this for over 12 years. maybe the Democrats will try to be more civil.
