Las Conchas Wildfire grows to over 60,000 acres, lab still closed

The Las Conchas fire has burned more than 60,000 acres as of early Wednesday, leaving Los Alamos virtually empty under a mandatory evacuation and the Los Alamos National Laboratory closed through at least Thursday. The fire is three percent contained, according to Inciweb.org.
