While it is widely expected that Bill Richardson will be named President-elect Barack Obama’s secretary of commerce on Wednesday, another man with New Mexico connections was announced to be on Obama’s White House staff: Louis Caldera.

Almost official! WSJ reports that Bill Richardson will be named commerce secretary tomorrow

On Wednesday, according to various news outlets, Gov. Bill Richardson will be named as Barack Obama’s choice to lead the U.S. Department of Commerce.
From the Wall Street Journal:
President-elect Barack Obama plans to introduce New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson as his Commerce secretary nominee at a Chicago news conference Wednesday, Democratic officials said.
